Welcome to Chico Children's Museum. 

Enriching early childhood learning through inclusive, accessible, hands-on experiences that celebrate curiosity, connect families and create community

CCM is a space for children and their grown-ups to connect & learn through play. 

To make everyone's experience more enjoyable WE ASK:

  • Please adhere to our 1:3 adult to child requirement.

  • Regardless of their age, we require you to supervise your children at all times.

  • Adults are not permitted in the building without children.

  • Shoes must be worn at all times, except in marked areas.

  • Please do not visit if you or your child are sick.

  • We do not allow food or drinks (water is OK) inside the museum at any time. This includes beverages for adults as well. We have a refillable water station available. If you need a special accommodation please ask our front desk for assistance. (Events in Celebration Room can have food & drink in the designated room only)

  • Strollers must be parked in the hallway- please check in at the front desk for directions on where to park your stroller. (Why? Our littlest visitors can't tell the difference between a stroller and an exhibit). If you need special accommodations please ask our front desk.

  • We ask that you do not allow your littles to chew gum in the museum.

  • Cell phones, laptops, tablets, and other electronic devices are barriers to interactive play and are highly discouraged.

  • Service animals are always welcome.

    ALL GUESTS MUST COMPLY WITH SAFETY POLICIES AND STAFF INSTRUCTIONS. WE EXPECT GUESTS TO BE RESPECTFUL TO CCM STAFF AND OTHER GUESTS. CCM WILL NOT TOLERATE INAPPROPRIATE, RUDE, ABUSIVE OR DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR, DEMEANING, HARASSING OR FOUL LANGUAGE. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE POLICIES MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE BUILDING AND/OR REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP WITHOUT REFUND.
