The veterinary hospital is a smaller room that contains pet kennels, stuffed animal pets, and play vet equipment. One of the vet tools includes an x-ray machine where children can scan the dog to see what is shown in the x-ray. While it can be busy, it is a more secluded room that does not allow as many people or groups in it compared to the more open exhibits, such as the farmers market.
The dentist's office is in a smaller room that can become crowded easily. The children are able to sit in a real dentist's chair and also play and look at a life-like set of teeth. There is also an x-ray machine they can use to look at teeth. Since the room is so small with little room to move, there can be a limited amount of space to move, and can get loud.
The market area consists of two separate markets — Farmers Market and the New Earth Market. There are plastic vegetables, fruits, and other food items. The children are also able to use a cash register, baskets, and food scale to buy or sell items. The market is a more popular area and can become loud from the children in the nearby exhibits.
The spaceship is a very interactive area with lots of flashing lights and loud beeping noises. The room is dark and includes multiple screens the children can engage with by pressing different buttons that correspond to a part of the spaceship. The area can become very busy because it is connected to another exhibit and can seem more crowded since it is very dark.
The treehouse consists of two parts, the upper level, and the lower level. To find the upper level, the children need to pass through another exhibit. It has windows for the children to look down at, and a slide that leads to the main Museum area. The lower level is a very small area that has lights in it. Both areas can become crowded since they are near other popular exhibits.
The farm contains the orchard and the farmhouse, chicken coup, and beehive will be added to this section soon. This section identifies areas where you can pick fruit, harvest crops, interact with a chicken coup, and tend to a farmhouse. This exhibit is in the middle of the museum and is open, so it can get incredibly busy with children playing in the areas as well as people walking by. This exhibit has tactile elements such as the “dirt” the crops are in.
The zephyr wall is an exhibit where children can put scarves in the tubes and change the direction they go in. This can be challenging for younger children to determine which way the scarf should go. This exhibit is in the back of the museum and can become loud and crowded since it is in an open area.
